Many refugees face challenges in learning the German language. Our vision: → Simplified and faster integration through the promotion of language skills Our mission: →Providing a language learning app specifically designed for refugees The goal of RISE is to introduce refugees to the German language and thereby integrate them into our society through a digital language learning app. The app will offer various language options that can be used as a supplement, preparation, and/or follow-up to existing language courses. Our app will differ significantly from the current range of language learning apps, which are primarily geared toward tourists, by focusing specifically on the needs of refugees. We are looking for students specializing in education, translation, adult education, or media education to help develop the app! As a RISE project member, your responsibilities will include: - Researching current developments & statistics - Gaining in-depth knowledge of the project’s topics - Creative brainstorming - Networking - Preparing and conducting market analyses - Developing a business model - Preparing for and participating in competitions
